Absolutely we must keep the forum.

We suggested the real need for this in the guestbook several times.

Can we please have subcategories too though!

This way all Roger's fans and visitors can address specific issues.

Some of our suggestions for categories are:

"BROADCAST APPEARANCES"

"CONCERTS"

"RECORDED MEDIA"

"SONGS"

These would cover just about every one of the many hundreds of questions we have been privileged to answer over the years. The "recorded media" category would cover everything from Roger's first commercial releases on Fontana 45s to the current DVDs.

Great idea as I am sure questions have remained unanswered in the guestbook - Even despite the valiant efforts of Vicky, Rory, Anthony and Jessie... Hey I've even responded myself!
But I know I've asked at least two questions that never received a response - Now I can set up my own forum and hope for the best...
Keep up the good work guys!

In response to Rory above, any registered member can start a new topic by hitting the new topic button and going from there - indulge yourself.

What we really had in mind rather than just a random collection of separate topics being all created under the one heading as at present was to have a few key sub-headings.

As more and more topics are added it will become progressively more difficult for folks to weed out and refer to specific info.

An example of what we are suggesting can be found at:

We don't need anything so complicated or multi-layered; just a way to keep all the apples and oranges, etc. in several separate baskets at the beginning.

Once it's set up there is no extra maintenance involved.
Folks will go directly to what interests them.

OK folks - let us give this a try - I have created a new sub-forum for Broadcast Appearances. If it does not prove popular it can be removed or relocated to the main "Fan" forum.

This Fan Forum is absolutely worth keeping!

It is so great to have this Fan Forum on which you can edit and/or delete your own posts on here and on where you can reply to some of the posts of your fellow fans on here if you want to do it!
